PsychoSynergetics is a functional/structural mythology of how the mind-body may or may not work, when considered as a
unified system. This PsychoGraphic model is part of a unique synthesis of many ideas about how this complex aspect of being human allows us to create, respond and adapt to the ever changing reality of our world. The
model begins with the notion that there is no meaningful distinction between an external (trans-personal) experience and an internal (personal) one, from the standpoint of perception. Within the context of
PsychoSynergetics, regardless of the source, the mind-body system is going to process and respond to the experience in essentially the same way. The next insight the model suggests is that all perceptions are
conditional, in the sense that they are neither value nor expectation free. What this suggests is that if we do not expect to perceive a novel stimulus (or consider it of value) there is a high degree of likelyhood that
it may never reach our threshold of awareness. This can prove to be very problematic. Another possibility to consider is that important parts of ourselves are never actually dealing with the outer reality of
trans-personal phenomena, but are dealing primarily with our thoughts, feelings, perceptions and projections. In conjunction with the
HumanSynergetics model, this provides a rich area of reflection and self understanding. This model and the
ensuing PsychoGraphic Maps are intended to give you a sense of the scope, value and importance of this synthesis. To delve into the details and mechanics requires an in-depth examination of the interactions of the
various components. The PsychoGraphic Maps can be worthwhile for contemplation and reflection, but there is no substitute for a guided tour. For further information and details regarding PsychoSynregetics, click on "
